High BP after toxemia.?
I developed toxemia AFTER i had my baby ... as strange as that sounds. I was readmitted to the hospital for 2 days and put on magnesium sulfate and BP medication as my BP was running 180/120. I still have to be on the meds to keep my pressure under control. My question is will my BP ever go back to normal without the pills or will I have to take them for the rest of my life?
Sometimes it goes away sometimes iut doesn’t, My oldest is 10 yrs old, I had toxemia, I stayed on bedrest the last 5 months of my pregancy with him because my B/P stayed severally high, and I remained in the hospital up to 2 and 1/2 weeks after he was born on the IV soluition "The MAG" because of it, and I am still to this day on blood pressure medicine because it never went away
